Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members. MSAD 75 is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our School-Based Health Center at Mr. Ararat High School. Position: Part-Time (.4 FTE) 2 days/week Essential Job Functions:
• Provide primary and acute care, and manage chronic conditions of students enrolled in the School-Based Health Center (SBHC).
• Work as team member of High School Health Office, collaborating with the School Nurse and Mental Health Provider.
• Provide administrative oversight of the SBHC; fulfill grant requirements and reporting to the Maine Center for Disease Control (ME CDC).
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Valid State of Maine Registered Nurse License.
• Approved as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
• Certified in Family Practice or Pediatrics by National Certification body recognized by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
• Current Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) authorization.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Must possess malpractice insurance.
