Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members. MSAD 75 is seeking a JV Volleyball Coach (Gr. 9-12) at Mr. Ararat High School to join our vibrant athletic community. PAY RATE: Stipend $4,086.96 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Develop and implement an organized and comprehensive volleyball program.
• Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
• Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
• Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
• Use current best practices to teach and develop volleyball skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
• Report game results to Athletic Director and local media outlets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior JV head coaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
• Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
• Maine Dept. of Education Criminal Record Check (CHRC)
