About this role
In District - school year - Monday - Friday 30 - 35 hours per week To assist in the provision of safe and efficient transportation for students Assists the driver with the overall control of students during transportation Must be physically able to lift, move, and restrain children Must be able to move and secure car seats, wheelchairs, and other articles as needed Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to interact with special needs, physical handicaps, autism, and children with behavioral issues
High school diploma or equivalent Must successfully pass an annual physical examination Must be at least 18 years of age Possess or be able to obtain additional special services student management training Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test Mandatory Criminal History Check/Fingerprint approval - https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting/ - Total cost $70
