McPherson USD #418 is looking for qualified individuals to help serve as FULL-TIME Substitute Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred building location on their application, but placement in their preferred building is not guaranteed. QUALIFICATIONS: 60 hours of college credit PROCESS: This is a two step process:
• Apply online with USD 418 for a sub position
• Apply online with KSDE for a sub license at ksde.org (must have a license in order to sub for USD 418)

Job Information: Full-Time Substitutes will report to their assigned school daily and substitute teach at a variety of grade levels. When a substitute is not needed at the assigned school, the Full-Time Substitute may be asked to substitute at another school in USD 418. Full-Time Substitutes will support school staff as directed by the building Principal at times when a classroom substitute is not needed. Terms of Employment: Full-Time Substitutes will be contracted for approximately 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, and 171 days during the school year. Pay starts at $15.70/hr, with pay increases based on in-district experience. These positions qualify for benefits as determined by the Negotiated Agreement and Classified Handbook.
