Fremont-Mills Community School District is seeking a motivated and student-centered Junior High Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 winter season. This position is responsible for teaching basketball fundamentals, promoting sportsmanship, and preparing student-athletes for success at the high school level.
Additional Information: Responsibilities: Organize and conduct daily practices focused on fundamentals and skill development Teach age-appropriate offensive, defensive, and special teams concepts Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive character development Supervise athletes during practices, games, and team activities Communicate effectively with parents and school staff Support the philosophy and direction of the Fremont-Mills athletic program Qualifications: Basketball coaching and/or playing experience preferred Knowledge of junior high school athletic development Ability to build positive relationships with students Strong communication and organizational skills Must meet all district employment requirements Contract Information: Seasonal stipend position Winter season (November–December) Reports to the Activities Directors Application Process: Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume, and references via email to: Greg Ernster - [email protected] Applications will be reviewed as they are received until the position is filled.
