About this role
Oak Ridge Schools Extended Childcare is now hiring part time staff for the upcoming school year. We have 2 shifts, our before and after school shift is 6:30a- 8:30a and 3:00p-6:00p and Wednesday 6:30a-8:30a and 12:30p- 6:00p.This a split shift. We also have after school only position and hours are 2:30p-6:00p and Wednesdays, 12:30p-6:00p. ECC operates for Fall and Spring break as well as Summer Camp. Hours will vary during school breaks. Job will begin July 22, 2021.Pay will be based on experience. Job Description:
• Interacts with students
• Supervising students
• Writing receipts
• Maintaining areas ECC uses
• Implementing student activities
• Other duties as directed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-year experience in childcare program or equivalent
• Must enjoy working with elementary age children
• Must be dependable
• Able to stand for periods of time
• Have a great communication skills and work well with others
• Must be able to take direction
Physical Requirements:
• Bending and stooping
• Sitting in floor
• Occasional Lifting
• Extended standing
• Able to tolerate outdoor conditions
