About this role
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with students, parents, supervisor and fellow workers TERM OF EMPLOYMENTS: 6 hours/day; 188 days/year
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist students on and off buses, including moving wheelchairs and other devices as required. 2. Monitor student behavior while on buses to ensure appropriate conduct. 3. Escort students across the street, as needed. 4. Assist driver in an emergency or evacuation. 5. Check bus before and after each route for students and articles. 6. Know the route and give assistance when asked. 7. Be aware of the medical needs of students.
