PASCO, WASHINGTON 99301 PHONE (509) 543-6700 Open: August 15, 2025 Close: Open until filled (Hiring is based upon district need) POSITION: Regular/Substitute Bus Drivers Transportation Department - Building 210 SALARY: Salary Schedules - Pasco School District SCHEDULE: Part time/Contracted/On-Call NEW HIRES ARE CONDITIONAL UPON PASSING A FINGERPRINT SCREENING QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to obtain a Washington State Driver's License
• Ability to pass DOT physical to obtain necessary license
• Must have five (5) years driving experience
• Physically and mentally able to perform daily routine
• Must provide a complete abstract of driving record for 5 years (available from Dept. of Licensing) current within 30 days of application
• Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
• Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
• Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
• Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students and patrons
• Ability to do school bus vehicle inspections and maneuver bus under all driving conditions
• Ability to work effectively with large groups of students
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Positions may be regular or substitute as needed
• Must be willing to undergo Pre employment drug and alcohol testing and Randoms throughout your employment
• Must not take/use any form of marijuana
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
