Position: Teacher English Language Arts (Grades 9-12)
Salary: State Salary Schedule for Licensed Teachers Minimum Certified Teacher Pay
Term: 10 Months Full-time

Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree from an approved education program in subject area • Masters in English is preferred but not required • Must have NC Teaching License or have qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license through a recognized teacher education program • Must understand North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards • Experience teaching English at high school level is preferred • Other duties as assigned by Superintendent, Principal or designee including but not limited to extracurricular assignments • Multi-certified preferred but not required Reports To: Principal/Superintendent or designee
