POSITION SUMMARY
• Responsible for recruiting, teaching, and coaching student athletes in the sport of softball.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Instructs players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of softball.
• Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises.
• Assesses player's skills.
• Monitors players during competition and practice.
• Determines game strategy.
• Supervises athletes during practices and competition.

• Past play experience in softball. Preference given to those with coaching experience.

• Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities.
