About this role
RSU 14 is currently looking for full-time bus driver(s).This position is benefits eligible (medical and dental insurance). Qualified candidates: •Must have a clean driving record free of convictions and/or moving violations. •Must have held a Maine CDL License or be in the process of obtaining a Maine CDL License. RSU 14 is willing to provide the federally required entry level driver training to the selected candidates. •Must be physically able to get on and off the bus without assistance. •Must be able to properly operate the bus. •Must pass a driver’s license and background check, as well as, be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing. (If an individual has been licensed in another state during the last five years, the individual will be required to get a copy of their driving record from that state.)
The selected candidate will be subject to a criminal history background check and must be in the process of obtaining an approved Maine CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) with the Maine Department of Education. The selected candidate must also hold a valid State of Maine CDL License with School Bus endorsement.
