All educators hired by Middletown Public Schools must provide Certification of demonstrated Proficiency or Awareness in Science of Reading and Structured Literacy, appropriate to the work assignment. - Appropriate Rhode Island Certification, Secondary Grades Social Studies Teacher, Grades 6-12 - Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university - 3 years experience - MLL endorsement preferred
