QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
• Prepare lessons and other instructional materials according to the individual achievement and levels; appropriate goals established within their Individualized Education Program.
• Collaborate and implement student supports.
• Coordinate with Related Service providers for program uniformity; promotes ongoing and consistent team communications.
• Proactive collaboration between classroom team, providers and behavior specialist.
• Effective communication across students, staff and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning, growth and development
• Willingness to be participate in and support student activities
