POSITION: Specialized Educational Support Professional Assignment: Special Education Furnace Brook Middle School 35 hours per week STARTING DATE: September 1, 2026 SALARY: Specialized Educational Support Personnel Salary Schedule ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY: Reports directly to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate degree and/or BS/BA in education preferred.
• Strong desire to work with students with special needs.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers and students at the middle school level.
• High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, and ability to maintain confidentiality required.
