Jenks Public Schools Job Description Position: District Volunteer Coordinator Reports to: Executive Director of Student Services Supervises: None Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.

• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: To maintain and ensure growth of District Volunteer Program while also assisting the Student Programs department. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assists in identifying areas in which volunteers may be used effectively.

• Assist in recruiting and screening volunteers.

• Reviews and recommends changes in volunteer programs on an on-going basis.

• Acts as liaison between staff and volunteers to ensure a smooth working relationship.

• Maintains a system to record volunteer hours for District and State reporting.

• Attends all PTO meetings. Attends PTA(G) meetings when appropriate.

• Monitor Paraprofessional credentialing and coordinate required Paraprofessional training.

• Review budgets and other financial issues with District Grant Assistance Manager in Student Programs department.

• Assist in the renewal of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between the district and outside agencies.

• Collect, organize, and maintain reports for Executive Director of Student Services.

• Assist Student Services with enrollment and transfer tasks.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
