Intervention Specialist (K-6) Bensalem Township School District is seeking qualified applicants for an Intervention Specialist (K-6) position for Belmont Hills Elementary and Valley Elementary School. The Intervention Specialist will provide targeted academic support, monitor student progress, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student achievement. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as a Title I Interventionist.
• Collect and analyze student data to support instructional decisions.
• Facilitate and support the MTSS process.
• Provide evidence-based literacy and math interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certificate
• One of the following certifications:
• K-6 Elementary Education Certification; or
• K-4 Elementary Education Certification and 4-8 Elementary Education Certification.
• Knowledge of evidence-based literacy and math intervention strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and diverse populations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
