Huntington is seeking a 7 hour Intervention Specialist. The candidate should possess a desire to work with students who demonstrate behavioral and cognitive challenges. The Intervention Specialist provides assistance to staff to address and maintain appropriate student behavior. The person may also assist in other areas of instruction, recreation, classroom organization and general supervision of students. All activities are performed under the direction and supervision of the building administrator. A strong candidate for this position would have experience working with children with behavioral concerns and must have the ability to create strong positive relationships with students and staff.
