RCMS Principal Position (6th-8th grades)
• Must hold a valid Kentucky Principal's Certificate/Principal's Statement of Eligibility in the area stated above.
• Have knowledge/experience in middle school curriculum/instruction and scheduling.
• Have the ability to implement different teaching/learning strategies to meet individual student differences.
• Must implement curriculum to increase Post-Secondary Readiness, Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA), Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment, ACCESS EL & Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Requirements.
• Must have knowledge/implementation of Kentucky Academic Standards (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and KY Program of Studies.
• Must be available to participate in PD training sessions in implementation of Academic Standards.
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
• Have the ability to implement job description including KY Teaching Standards.
• Must have knowledge/Implementation to Chair ARC and 504 meetings and Program Service Plan (PSP).
• Must have knowledge and understanding of Professional Growth and Evaluation process of teachers.
• Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities related to RCMS.
• Must have the ability to develop positive, professional relationships with students, teachers, administrators and parents.
• Must successfully complete all required employment forms and applications.
• Render health services as necessary after appropriate training.
