Title Recreation Specialist Lions Club Employment Type Part-Time Compensation $14.00/hr. Position Summary Orange Community Education & Recreation is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Lions Club Recreation Specialists. This role is a key member of the department. In this role, the Lions Club Recreation Specialist assists and supports the Youth division by providing before and/or after school care to children in grades K - 5 while working to accomplish the mission of Orange Community Education & Recreation. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced, friendly and supportive environment. Work is primarily Monday Friday, before and after school. Minimum Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience working in child care, summer camp or recreation programs preferred • Must be able to work a consistent schedule, either before or after school or both • Highly detail-oriented with strong communication and follow-up skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred • Current CPR/First Aid Certification desired • Ability to pass a required background check.
