SALARY (Non-negotiable) $33,810 - $46,728 with benefits package Paygrade 12 HOURS 35 hours, 10 months, 184 days Bargaining Unit: This position is part of the non-supervisory Support Services collective bargaining unit FLSA: Non-Exempt QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be an active licensed LPN and eligible to practice in the State of Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of (1) year nursing experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with maintaining the Health Suite.
• Assess student's complaints of illness or injury and determine appropriate action to be taken.
• Administer first aid and emergency care.
• Handle and administer prescribed medication to students.
• Check for general health problems and conduct student health appraisals to identify and assess physical, behavioral, and social needs.
• Provide hearing and vision screening.
• Maintain up to date student health records.
• Complete appropriate forms to report student accidents to the central office.
• Report suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and other community organizations providing health and related services to students.
