Job Description: Middle School Volleyball Coach Position Summary The Middle School Volleyball Coach is responsible for developing, organizing, and leading a Volleyball program that fosters students' interest in volleyball and indoor recreation. The coach will work closely with students to develop their Volleyball skills, sportsmanship, and overall physical fitness. Responsibilities
• Program Development:
• Design and implement a comprehensive Volleyball program.
• Create engaging and challenging training plans and workouts that cater to students' varying skill levels.
• Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
• Team Coaching:
• Mentor and guide student Volleyball teams in preparation for competitions.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship among team members.
• Help students develop essential skills such as communication, leadership, and time management.
• Equipment Management:
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is in good condition and properly maintained.
• Procure necessary materials and supplies for the program.
• Community Outreach:
• Represent the school and Volleyball program at community events and competitions.
• Promote Volleyball and indoor recreation within the local community.

Qualifications
• Experience coaching or mentoring youth in sports or indoor sporting activities.
• Strong understanding of Volleyball techniques, equipment, and training principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Passion for Volleyball and a commitment to fostering student success.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience competing in Volleyball competitions.
• Certification in Volleyball coaching or instruction.
• Familiarity with the specific terrain and conditions of the local area.
• Experience working with grant funding and fundraising initiatives.
