About this role
2 positions available. 40 hours per week 12 months per school year Initial hours of assignment:
• North High School: 3:30pm - 12:00am (Monday - Friday) (inclusive of ½ hour unpaid lunch)
• Transit Middle School: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) (inclusive of ½ hour unpaid lunch)
Responsibilities: Performs miscellaneous manual work in an office, on the grounds, or about the building; does related work as required. Requirements:
• Ability to perform Ground Care duties - Mow lawns, weeding, snow shoveling.
• Ability to do manual and unskilled maintenance repair work.
• Ability to perform unskilled work repairing mechanical equipment and heating systems.
• Ability to do minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to move furniture, load and unload trucks, good physical condition, strength & stamina.
Preferred:
• Ability to perform routine cleaning.
• Elementary education.
• Able to run errands to make deliveries and pickups.
