TITLE: Paraprofessional - Sped 1 on 1 QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 60 college hours or equivalent.
• Competency in the area assigned.
• General understanding of public education.
• Good human relations skills.
REPORTS TO: Supervising Teacher and Principal JOB GOAL: To assist and support a Cooperating Teacher PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists with cooperating teacher's program.
• Works with small groups of children.
• Works individually with students to meet their basic educational needs.
• Assists with the educational program of the district.
• Follow all requirements set forth by DESE and District Board Policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Education or administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine month employment. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of District Board Policy.
