Supplemental Reading Teacher 2026-27 School Year Only 1 year grant supported position - may be extended as determined by grant funding Qualifications:
• Ohio Teaching License- Professional License Preferred • Bachelor's Degree in Education • Reading Endorsement • Prior experience working with students with reading difficulties preferred • Alternatives to the listed qualifications considered Preferences:
• Take and pass KPEERI (Knowledge and Practice Examination for Effective Reading Instruction) • CERI (Center for Effective Reading Instruction) credentials Responsibilities:
• Determines reading and skill deficiencies • Provides instruction in the areas of need • Progress monitors academic progress and communicates progress to parents • Formative and summative skills testing of students • Supports classroom learning by communicating with classroom teacher • Educated parents on how to support student with reading • Participate in conferences about students • Assesses students as needed and supports school with testing as permissible Internal applicants should send a cover letter of interest to Mary Meadows via email.
