Minimum Qualifications
• Must have completed at least one of the following:
• 36 college credit hours
• Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program
Nice-to-Haves- Skills and qualities that are a plus but not necessarily a requirement
• Successful experience in an elementary or middle school setting
• Fluency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish
Responsibilities
• In this position you will report to the school building each day. This is not an “on-call” substitute teaching position. Assignments vary by building needs.
• Oversee various areas of classroom instruction following guides provided by the classroom teacher.
• Lead whole class, small group, and individual learning.
• Collaborate with the entire K-8 team to promote higher levels of learning for all students.
• Monitor student culture and safety.
Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position is competitive and starts at $37,450 depending on years of experience. The salary increases depending on the number of years of experience you have. Our salaries are well-above market rate: SLLIS salaries are higher than 90% of public schools in Missouri.
