Project Name: Finn Valley Community Employment (CE) Project Hours: 19.5 hours per week - Flexible Working Hours Contract Type: Community Employment Scheme – Part-Time ________________________________________ About the Role: The Finn Valley CE Project is currently recruiting for an Environmental Worker to support community-based environmental and maintenance work in the Finn Valley area. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, contribute to your local community, and access training opportunities to help you progress into further employment. ________________________________________ Key Duties Will Include: • General environmental upkeep (e.g., litter control, planting, weeding, strimming, etc.) • Maintenance of community spaces (parks, walkways, green areas) • Supporting recycling and sustainability initiatives • Assisting with seasonal projects (e.g., tree planting, clean-up days) • Collaborating with local community groups and supervisors • Following health and safety guidelines at all times ________________________________________ Eligibility: This position is supported under the Department of Social Protection’s Community Employment Programme.
