About this role
Avondhu Blackwater Partnership is responsible for managing 98km of walking trails in the North Cork Region. We have a placement available to work as part of a small team to help maintain these walking trails. A company vehicle will be made available to the team to facilitate their roles. Responsibilities: • Collecting and driving team members to agreed locations along walking trails to carry out assigned tasks (Full driving licence required for this role) • Carry out remedial repairs or replacement of signage on the trails. • Carry out strimming in overgrown areas. • Assist in scheduled project works • Communicate with other stakeholders. • Reporting any issues e.g. illegal dumping, storm damage to management. Skills: • Full driving licence required. • Be familiar with use of strimmers and have general DIY skills • Good attention to detail and communication skills • Be able to work well in a team environment • Also capable of working on own initiative.
