About this role
Public Awareness Duties: • Assist in the design of ADAPT promotional materials • Assist with promoting the profile of ADAPT/ADAPT Shop using social media • Design posters and leaflets to promote ADAPT Shop • Photographing of shop items for online market sales • Attend awareness raising events as required for ADAPT • Assist with the 16 Days of Action campaign and any other campaigns that ADAPT may run. • Assist with promoting fund-raising events on social media and assist in preparing and helping out with fund-raising events as required. • Record all requests for public awareness materials on computer Duties in assisting in the Shop: • Assist in the day-to-day running of ADAPT Charity shop • Checking that all electrical and battery items are in working order • Repairing damaged items for re-sale • Dealing with customer queries, requests and concerns • Dealing with sales, merchandising and display. • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the Shop • Operating the cash register Other Responsibilities • Maintain records relevant to all duties as outlined in the Staff Handbook • Attend all meetings relevant to this position • Maintain Health & Safety standards at all time • Assist with other shop duties as requested by the shop manager • Report safety and security hazards and complete agreed records • Actively participate in all training, meetings, and other activities of the Project as agreed • Actively participate on own time training, as outlined in the ADAPT C.E Handbook • Participate in work experience provided by the project • Assist in evaluation of activities to ensure that they are appropriate to the needs of the Project and the participant • Practice the ethos of ADAPT Services in terms of confidentiality, respect and teamwork. • Assist in other areas of ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services as required To apply for this position, all you have to do is contact the CE Supervisor Frances Quinn, on Telephone number 061319086.
