Location: FireTop Unit 6, Deanrock Business & Technology Park, Deanrock, Togher, Cork. T12PYW4. We are seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, wiring systems and electrical components at company and client premises. **Key Responsibilities:** * Examine drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine work requirements and installation procedures. * Select, cut, route and connect electrical wiring, cables, sockets, plugs and terminals. * Install and secure electrical conduit, cable containment systems and associated components. * Assemble electrical parts and sub-assemblies using appropriate hand and power tools. * Install electrical equipment, fixtures and control components in accordance with specifications. * Carry out testing, inspection and fault-finding on electrical systems and equipment. * Replace defective wiring, electrical components and worn parts as required. * Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical installations and equipment. * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and technical requirements. * Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition. * Work may be carried out both at the company’s premises and at client sites, depending on operational requirements. **Requirements:** * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams. * Experience using electrical testing equipment and installation tools. * Good attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to safe working practices.
