About this role
We are seeking an individual to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our busy Pitch & Putt course and clubhouse. Located in the the stunning seaside location of Laytown, we also run regional tournaments and competitions. As our membership is growing each year, we have ambitious plans to develop the Club and our facilities. This role will assist us in this important work. While knowledge of Pitch & Putt courses is a distinct advantage, it is not essential as full training will be given. A willingness to learn and reliability is a must for this role, as it is an outdoor role all year round. Duties: - Grass cutting to required height - Strimming of banks and hedges - Weeding along edge of course and entrance - Maintenance of fairways and bunkers - Litter control - General cleaning and maintenance of clubhouse - Correct use, maintenance and storage of all tools and equipment - Small repairs and painting as needed - Assist with preparation for competitions and tournament - Assist members with queries What we offer: - an opportunity to gain skills and confidence in greenkeeping - a fabulous workplace location right by the beach - quality training in all aspects of sportsground maintenance and horticulture - gain training certificates to QQI standard For more information please contact the CE Supervisor Cathy Kerrigan on 085-164 0876 or email [email protected].
