About this role
The Support Worker will assist Adults with intellectual disabilities in providing practical and emotional support through their work in the coffee dock, through their participation in programmes/activities and supports organised/provided through SFRC. Including providing practical and emotional support. Encouraging personal development and self-esteem. Assist the Learning Disability Coordinator in programmes for adults with disabilities run by Sligo FRC. Engaging with local recreational activities and supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in their participation. Supporting adults in developing skills in the food service industry. Supporting existing workers engaged in the work with adults with intellectual disabilities. Confidentiality and respect of the privacy of trainees to be observed at all times.. CE Scheme Skills
