About this role
The sponsoring group for this scheme is Longford Town Suburbs clg but the participant will be based in a charity shop in Longford town. Duties include: - Delivering a high standard of customer service to customers at all times, and be efficient and courteous at all times. - Deal responsibly with customer complaints. - Assist the manager to merchandise the shop in order to make best use of the space available. - To ensure the shelves are appropriately stocked with merchandise, and to ensure that merchandise is displayed in accordance with the shops policy, and is clearly labelled and priced. - To ensure that stock is in good, sale-able condition and that the shop and stock room are is kept clean and tidy at all times. - To operate the till and to handle cash in strict compliance with company policy, and to record all transactions correctly on the cash register.
