This is an on-site role, based primarily at the Hammersmith Campus
About the role:
Working closely with the Division Manager, Section Managers, Principal Investigators, academic staff, and students, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of HR, finance, and research administration processes.
What you would be doing:
Supporting HR processes, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, contract changes, and staff record management Providing financial and research administration support, including purchase orders, invoices, expense claims, and monitoring commitments Coordinating departmental activities and maintaining accurate records and administrative systems Liaising with internal teams and external partners, including HR, Finance, the Joint Research Office, funders, and collaborating institutions Supporting departmental projects, meetings, and events as required
What we are looking for:
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience with an open and flexible approach to your day-to-day work. Great communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to deal with staff of all levels as well as students Previous experience of working in a higher education office environment, ideally in a research setting
