We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Flexible Day Rota) to join our team and help make a positive difference to the lives of our residents every day.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, helping residents maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing. Working as part of a caring and professional team, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to creating a safe, comfortable and fulfilling home environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and flexibility, and who is passionate about delivering outstanding care.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Practitioner, your role will include:
Assisting residents with personal care, mealtimes and daily routinesConducting regular safety and welfare checks on all residentsAccurately documenting and updating care records and reportsManaging and administering medications in line with care plans and policiesResponding promptly to residents needs, including addressing any emergencies or changes in healthSupporting and assisting new or less-experienced team membersHelping maintain a clean and safe environment, including performing light housekeeping tasks as neededCollaborating with the day shift team for a smooth handover and continuity of care

The Care Assistant (Flexible Day Rota) is responsible for delivering safe, effective and person-centred care that supports residents' physical, emotional and social wellbeing. The postholder will assist residents with daily routines and provide practical and emotional support while promoting independence and maintaining dignity at all times.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected and cared for. The role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
