We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner (Nights) to join our team and play an important role in delivering exceptional care throughout the night.
As a Care Practitioner, you will provide practical and emotional support to residents, helping to ensure their comfort, wellbeing and peace of mind during night-time hours. Working alongside a caring and professional team, you will help create a calm and reassuring environment where residents feel safe, valued and supported
Main duties of the job
As a Care Practitioner on Nights, your role will include:
Assisting residents with personal care, meals, and evening routines to ensure comfort and well-being throughout the nightConducting regular safety and welfare checks on all residentsAccurately documenting and updating care records and reportsManaging and administering medications in line with care plans and policiesResponding promptly to residents needs, including addressing any emergencies or changes in healthSupporting and assisting new or less-experienced team members during the night shiftHelping maintain a clean and safe environment, including performing light housekeeping tasks as neededCollaborating with the day shift team for a smooth handover and continuity of care

The Care Practitioner (Nights) is responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to residents during night shifts. The postholder will assist residents with their individual needs while promoting comfort, safety and wellbeing in accordance with care plans, policies and procedures.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive environment, ensuring residents receive compassionate and respectful care. The role requires strong communication skills, a caring nature and a commitment to maintaining excellent standards of care and professionalism.

What were looking for: A caring and positive attitude Genuine interest in health and social care (previous experience is beneficial but not essential) Ability to work independently during night hours while staying alert and responsive Flexibility to work night shifts as required
