Main duties of the job The Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare focusses on being a part of a team dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and handling laundry operations at Newcross Care Home in Wolverhampton. This role requires an understanding of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments, essential for maintaining the wellbeing of the home's community.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..

The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
