Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to join our team at Ribble Court Care Home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the home's administration systems and processes, ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially. Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will contribute to the smooth and effective operation of the service while providing a professional and welcoming experience for residents, families, colleagues and visitors.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy care home environment.

Main Duties of the JobProvide comprehensive administrative support to the Home Manager and wider management team.Maintain accurate and confidential resident, employee and service records.Support payroll processes and ensure relevant information is processed accurately and within required timescales.Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding processes and pre-employment compliance checks.Maintain HR records and support the administration of employee documentation and personnel files.Monitor and maintain occupancy records, resident admissions information and room allocation systems.Ensure documentation is organised, up to date and compliant with regulatory and company requirements.Provide professional reception and front-of-house support, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries.Handle telephone, email and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner.Liaise with external organisations, regulators, suppliers and healthcare professionals as required.Support the production of reports, audits and management information.Assist with the coordination of meetings, diaries and administrative projects.Maintain office systems, filing arrangements and data management processes.Ensure confidential information is handled securely and in accordance with data protection requirements.Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the home through effective organisational support.Uphold the values, policies and standards of Ribble Court Care Home and Sandstone Care Group at all times.Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the effective operation of the home.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
What are we looking for? Strong administrative skills and experience in a generalist administrative role. Proficiency in payroll processing and HR processes, with a good understanding of customer service. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to confidently communicate both in writing and over the phone. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
