The post holder is required to have recent office experience, good standard of education, proven IT skills. Previous experience in a doctors surgery would be desirable but not essential.

Crosland Moor Surgery is a small friendly surgery with 2 Partners, 1 Practice Nurses. We have a practice list of 4000+ patients. 4 Admin/Reception staff and a Practice Manager. We achieve high QOF points and we are a member of the Viaduct Primary Care Network within NHS Kirklees CCG
Job description Job responsibilities
Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with as necessary, inputting information relevant to the call into patients records. Inputting data onto the clinical system. Dealing with patients face to face when they attend the surgery at reception. Ensuring patient records are up to date and all paperwork/scanning are filed correctly. Registering new patients following surgery protocol. Ensuring tasks and notifications are updated and actioned as required. Opening both internal and external post. Flexibility regarding working hours is desirable. Opening and closing of surgery and possibly some extended hours will be required. The above role of the post holder as described is comprehensive but not exhaustive.

Desirable
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. The post holder will be required to work additional hours at the request of the manager to cover staff absence and annual leave, so flexibility is a must.
