About this role

Job summary This is a maintenance role at Edgehill care home in Swindon, where you will be responsible for maintaining the building and grounds to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents. Main duties of the job As a Maintenance Person at Edgehill care home, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements. This will include assessing and undertaking repairs, such as painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, and repairing doors and windows. You will also ensure that the care home is safe for all residents and that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work This is a full time role at 40 hours per week to include working alternative weekends Previous experience working in a maintenance role within a care home setting would be desirable but not essential for this roleA day in the life of a Maintenance Person

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows. If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor. Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents. You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.About Agincare

Qualifications Essential
