About this role

The Senior Inside Sales Manager is responsible for building, leading, and scaling Experian's newly formed Inside Sales organization. You will own team revenue performance, pipeline generation, sales execution discipline, and operational infrastructure across a high-velocity, quota-carrying AE team.

You will establish the operating cadence, coaching model, performance standards, and reporting rigor required to drive predictable revenue in a 2–4 month sales cycle environment. You will report to VP Sales, Automotive.

Build & Lead the Inside Sales Team

Recruit, hire, and onboard high-performing Inside Sales AEsEstablish territory design, account segmentation, and capacity planningCreate clear career paths, performance standards, and succession plansDrive Revenue & Forecast Predictability

Own team new business ACV targets and quota attainmentLead pipeline reviews and forecast calls to ensure deal accuracyIdentify performance gaps and implement corrective action plansCoach for Sales Excellence

Deliver consistent coaching through call reviews, deal strategy, and demosReinforce strong qualification and sales disciplineImprove win rates, shorten sales cycles, and strengthen competitive positioningSales Process & Operational Discipline

Standardize sales stages, exit criteria, and CRM hygienePartner with Revenue Operations on dashboards, KPIs, and reportingOptimize compensation levers and sales processes to drive resultsCross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and campaign ROIAlign with Account Management and Customer Success for smooth handoffsShare customer and competitive insights with Product teamsScale & Optimize

Analyze performance data to improve productivity and ramp timeBuild scalable onboarding and training programsEvaluate tools and automation to increase efficiency 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with 3–5+ years leading quota‑carrying inside sales teamsProven experience managing transactional or mid‑market sales cycles (30–90 days)Demonstrated success leading teams with individual quotas of $500K+ and $5K–$25K ACV solutionsStrong forecasting, pipeline management, and sales execution disciplineExperience hiring, developing, and scaling high‑performing sales teams, including building an inside sales function from inceptionFamiliarity with structured sales qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, BANT)Industry experience in automotive, data, SaaS, and/or financial services Benefits/Perks:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. We have listed the base pay range for this position above. Within this range, we determine pay based on factors like work location, job-related experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
