TO START ASAP This is a WORKING CHEF role, located at a remote fly-in industrial camp facility in Northern Saskatchewan. **WE COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION, MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE AT SITE. **SHIFT WORK & COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS REQUIRED; SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS WITH 11-HOUR DAYS. **MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST. What you will do:- Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team.- Liaise between the client and ACLP.- Create ad maintain memorable and positive food service experiences.- Manage food costs and inventory.- Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality and appearance. Job Requirements - Let's not waste your time:- Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.- Jobs require shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.- Knowledge of Vegan, Halal and Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.- Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Camp Manager programs.- Valid Driver's license preferred.- Current First responder certificate would be an asset.- You must be a team leader, who works well with others.- Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team.- Customer relation skills. - If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at [email protected].
