JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE OR EXPLORATION CAMP, in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP.
WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight or shuttle service out of certain locations), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS when at site! SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED (11-hour days); WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
We are looking for general kitchen helpers with various degrees of experience. Your qualifications and experience will determine where you will best fit within our organization.
- Who are you?- You have a passion for food & cooking.- You have prior kitchen experience and current Safe Food Handling (preferred but not required.)- You are driven by seeing the results of your hard work immediately.- You are honest and care about doing a good job.- You are careful and attentive to detail.- You have your own reliable source of transportation.
- Things to Consider - Lets not waste your time:- Shift work at a remote site (mining facility or exploration camp) is required.- Ability to perform high-volume tasks in a busy and fast-paced food service environment.- Able to work in a safe, reliable, and professional manner, with minimal supervision.- MUST be able to work compressed workweeks.- Strong team player who works well with others. - Physically capable of performing the assigned duties.- You must be prepared to work at site during holidays & weekends.- You must be fit for duty & able to safely fulfill the job requirements in a remote fly-in setting.
