At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.</span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> </p> <div id="tor__flistingLayout_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__flistingLayout_content"> <p>We are presently seeking a <strong>Production Control Coordinator</strong> that will support operations by coordinating material availability and ensuring timely workflow within the optics production enviornment. </p> <p> </p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Production Scheduling:</strong><br>Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules for optics manufacturing based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.</li> <li><strong>Material Coordination:</strong><br>Track and manage the availability of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies required for optics production. Work with procurement and warehouse teams to prevent production delays.</li> <li><strong>Workflow Management:</strong><br>Monitor production progress on the shop floor, identify bottlenecks, and communicate with relevant teams to optimize throughput.</li> <li><strong>Data Management and Reporting:</strong><br>Maintain accurate production data including order status, inventory levels, and production metrics. Prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.</li> <li><strong>Quality and Compliance Support:</strong><br>Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure production complies with specifications and regulatory standards. Assist in implementing corrective actions for production issues.</li> <li><strong>Communication and Coordination:</strong><br>Serve as a liaison between production, engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely resolution of issues.</li> <li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong><br>Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred</li> <li>Basic knowledge of optics manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.</li> <li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Benefits start day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability</p> <p>Pay Range: $26.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>Our facility in Boulder, Colorado has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines.
