This position is responsible for handling, inspecting, and processing electro-mechanical medical devices while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. Working within a collaborative, LEAN-driven environment, you will utilize established procedures and SAP transactions to ensure products are accurately received, evaluated, updated, and prepared for the next stage of the product lifecycle.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position is based onsite within our Logistics Center and requires adherence to established safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement standards.</p> <p> </p> <div><strong>The scheduled shift for this role is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.</strong></div> <h2> </h2> <h2>What You&apos;ll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices received by the Product Evaluation department following established work instructions.</li> <li>Verify device information, including part numbers and serial numbers, against accompanying documentation and SAP records to ensure accuracy.</li> <li>Perform software updates and configuration activities on designated medical devices as required.</li> <li>Maintain the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and compliance while processing products.</li> <li>Support departmental operations by cross-training and providing coverage across multiple Product Evaluation functions when needed.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Ability to follow work instructions, processes, and supervisor direction with a high degree of accuracy.</li> <li>Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning business systems.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li> <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Previous SAP experience.</li> <li>Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or product evaluation environment.</li> <li>Familiarity with medical devices or regulated industry processes.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>What Will Make You Successful</h2> <ul> <li>Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.</li> <li>Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.</li> <li>Willingness to learn new processes and support multiple functions within the department.</li> <li>Positive, team-first attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li> <li>Adaptability in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.</li> <li>Commitment to continuous improvement and LEAN principles.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>Physical Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, reach, grasp, pack, lift, pull, and push throughout the workday.</li> <li>Frequently lift up to 25 pounds.</li> <li>Occasionally lift 30–75 pounds with assistance.</li> <li>Occasionally push or pull up to 320 pounds on casters with assistance.</li> <li>Occasionally use a warehouse ladder to access shelving.</li> <li>Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.</li> <li>Ability to use standard office and warehouse equipment, including computers and copiers.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>Why KARL STORZ?</h2> <p>Join KARL STORZ and be part of a team creating medical innovations that truly make a difference.
