About this role
<p>Responsibilities - </p> <p>• Design and develop overhead transmission line conductors including AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR, HTLS and other specialized conductor products.<br>• Perform conductor design calculations in accordance with applicable standards such as IEC, ASTM, BS, IS, EN and utility specifications. <br>• Prepare conductor technical datasheets, drawings, manufacturing specifications and design documentation. <br>• Conduct electrical, mechanical, thermal and short-circuit performance calculations for conductors. <br>• Carry out sag-tension calculations, stringing charts and transmission line analysis using PLS-CADD or equivalent software. <br>• Review customer specifications and ensure product compliance with technical requirements.<br>• Drive development and qualification of new conductor products aligned with market and customer requirements.<br>• Provide technical support to domestic and international customers, utilities and EPC contractors. <br>• Resolve customer technical queries and provide engineering calculations, reports and supporting documents.<br>• Review tender specifications and prepare technical compliance documents. <br>• Develop techno-commercial inputs for domestic and international tenders.</p> <p><br>Qualification : BE / BTech </p> <p><br>Technical: <br>• Overhead Conductor Design (AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR, HTLS) <br>• New Product Development (NPD)<br>• Technical Documentation & Drawings <br>• Type Testing & Product Qualification <br>• International Standards (IEC, ASTM, BS, IS, EN)</p> <p>Functional: <br>• Design and development of overhead transmission line conductors (AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR, HTLS, etc.).<br>• Development and qualification of new products in line with customer and market requirements. <br>• Conduct value engineering and product optimization initiatives.</p> <p><br>Behavioural: <br>• Leadership & Team Management <br>• Customer Orientation <br>• Analytical Thinking<br>• Communication & Presentation Skills <br>• Cross-Functional Collaboration <br>• Innovation & Continuous Improvement</p>
