General Description <ul style="margin-bottom:13.0px"> <li>The candidate will have several direct & indirect employees.</li> <li>Under the general direction of the Plant Head / Operation Head, the incumbent is responsible operation of Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) as per the generation schedule.</li> <li>The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently.</li> <li>This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis to highlight areas for improvement.</li> <li>This ideal candidate should have experience in communication with load centres for any generation schedule change etc.</li> <li>The candidate should communicate efficiently with various department to operate plant efficiently.</li> </ul> WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists <ul style="margin-bottom:13.0px"> <li style="text-align:justify">Perform start / stop of the units as per the generation schedule in close coordination of client as well as Load Dispatch centre.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Perform efficient use of Turbine / Pump and reservoir to maximise the utilization of the available resources.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare various report like Daily Performance Report, Daily Generation Report, Water Utilization, Breakdown Report, Plant Availability and various other report as per the format described. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare risk assessment and action plan for every activity of power generation in close coordination of EHS representative and review.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Performing troubleshoot / extend help to system expert to identify breakdown / preventive / shutdown maintenance for bringing down the down-time to minimum level.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Understand the vibration analysis of various equipments installed in Plant. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Preparation of SOPs and Local Operating procedures for safe & efficient Operation of the Plant and encourage team to follow the same. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage a work force that is motivated, flexible in skills, cross-trained and technically astute ensuring an effective and motivated team.</li> </ul> YOU’RE GOOD AT: Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate. <ul style="margin-bottom:13.0px"> <li style="text-align:justify">Operating the Hydro Power Plant / PSP as Shift In-charge efficiently in according the generation schedule and reservoir availability.</li> <li style="text-align:justify"><a name="_Hlk193880270">Efficient in Operation of the Plant from SCADA at Control room as well as Unit Control Board.</a></li> <li style="text-align:justify">Coordination with load centre / various departments for efficiently operation of the plant.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Monitoring of machine parameters to improve MTBF.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrate good understanding of working of Hydro Electrical equipments like GIS, Generator, LT / MV system, PLCs, Electrical Protection Relays, Plant Instruments etc.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Experienced with use of Microsoft Office tools, with emphasis on Excel, Word, Power Point etc.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrated leadership, competent oral and written communication skills are required.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Other skills required include knowledge and the ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.)</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Incumbent must adhere to established policies and procedures.</li> <li style="text-align:justify"><a name="_Hlk193892520">Incumbent must be proficient in Engilish language.</a></li> </ul> YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role) <ul style="margin-bottom:13.0px"> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum Qualification: Regular B.E. / B Tech in Electrical Engineering from reputed government, private, autonomous institiute recognised under AICTE, New Delhi.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Overall 10 years of experience in a hydro power plant / PSP out of which a minimum 03 -
