For more than five decades, Duke has been a leader in evidence-based obesity medicine, integrating medical management, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, behavioral health, exercise science, and patient education into a comprehensive model focused on long-term health outcomes.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 6.0pt;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif">This position is centered on treating obesity as a chronic, complex medical disease through comprehensive, longitudinal care rather than episodic weight-loss interventions.
