Relocation assistance is available. Travel for this role averages around 50% depending on project phase and business need, with some periods higher and others lower. Travel is primarily domestic with some international travel required. This position supports cross-functional project teams from concept generation and development through detailed design, build, system integration, and production start-up in manufacturing. The focus is on implementing robust, cost-effective mechanical systems in Corning’s manufacturing plants. engineering and equipment-related problems, resolve project-related issues, and develop a basic understanding of process and equipment design requirements</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Focus on the design, debug, installation, and start-up of mechanical systems, while developing understanding in areas such as material selection, error budgets, tolerance ability to learn, develop, and advance technical skills in mechanical design, process equipment development, and other mechanical systems</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Fundamental understanding of materials, process, and mechanical design to support the development of cost-effective mechanical systems</li> <li style="font-family:arial,
