If you are eager to learn, we'll provide the training and support needed to succeed in this role.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your future responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, maintain, and enhance scheduled SAS solutions to process and transform large volumes of data, generating reports in Microsoft Excel that serve as inputs to internal processes</li> <li>Integrate SAS solutions with other services</li> <li>Migrate and modernize existing solutions (e.g., from VBA or Power Query to SAS)</li> <li>Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality and development efficiency</li> <li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions</li> <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders during testing and delivery</li> <li>Document solutions and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your key skills and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in programming and scripting</li> <li>Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing, deployment, and maintenance</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL</li> <li>Ability to develop in accordance with strict policies or constraints</li> <li>Strong analytical capabilities combined with structured thinking and problem-solving expertise</li> <li>Proactive and self-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset</li> <li>Fluent English (B2 level or higher)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of SAS</li> <li>Understanding of Python standards and best practices (e.g., Python Enhancement Proposals)</li> <li>Familiarity with GitHub Copilot</li> <li>Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies – SAFe</li> <li>Background in finance, banking, or insurance environments</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>3 things you’ll love about KBC Global Services: </strong></p> <p><strong>#1 Work-life balance for real. </strong>Forget overtime and working while sleeping!
