In this role, you will be responsible for developing new products and improving existing solutions to meet customer technical and commercial requirements. You will work closely with customers, project teams, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing departments throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to validation and serial production.</p> <p>The position requires strong technical expertise, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple engineering projects in a dynamic automotive environment.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Participate in new product development projects (KBD) and product improvement projects (PIP), including design, testing, and validation activities.</li> <li>Collaborate with customers and internal teams to clarify technical requirements, manage product changes, and support resolution of engineering-related issues.</li> <li>Analyze customer requirements and support the definition of technical solutions aligned with product specifications and project objectives.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of product systems and assemblies, including coordination of components, subassemblies, and related interfaces.</li> <li>Perform design activities at component and finished product level according to customer requirements and automotive industry standards.</li> <li>Prepare technical analyses using engineering guidelines, calculations, simulations, and laboratory test results to verify product requirements.</li> <li>Support product feasibility assessments and identification of potential technical risks together with the project team and customer.</li> <li>Support material selection and definition of design solutions for developed products.</li> <li>Prepare and update DFMEA documentation.</li> <li>Support cost calculations for new products and validation activities.</li> <li>Prepare and execute validation plans according to project timelines and product development processes.</li> <li>Perform technical calculations related to product performance, including fluid flow, pressure, torque, resonance, and other functional parameters.</li> <li>Design components according to customer technical specifications and create/update 2D and 3D engineering documentation.</li> <li>Support prototype build activities and evaluate prototypes against functional requirements.</li> <li>Participate in VAVE activities focused on cost optimization, product standardization, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Perform activities related to IMDS (International Material Data System).</li> <li>Follow quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements applicable within the plant.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.</li> <li>Experience in product design and development, preferably in the automotive industry.</li> <li>Experience with DFMEA and engineering validation processes.</li> <li>Knowledge of plastic and/or metal materials.</li> <li>Experience in customer-facing technical roles.</li> <li>ERP knowledge;
